Cosmos - Happy 3rd Anniversary Rob & Jolie

Coincidence or not, Rob and I did see 3 meteors for our 3rd weddding anniversary, on the 12th. Isn't that somethin, even if 2 of them were only out of the corner of my eye.
WE ARE ALL PART OF ONE BIG BRAIN, A SPIDER WEB WOVEN and inextricably intertwined. This is disconcerting but also comforting.

We all have experienced the phenonemom of what we think is psychic ability. Someone calls us just after we are thinking about them. You talk to your mother, and 9 times out of 10, your sister has just spoken to her, or will call right after you. Psychic? I SUGGEST IT'S NOT. Maybe it's much simpler than that; a more natural, explanation.
Two things happened today that made me think of this.

It is my 3rd wedding anniversary and I'm relaxing after dinner; after babes are in bed; watering the garden in the near 90 degree heat. I watched a small spider on my rose tree as he began to weave a web from one branch to another. Creating his snare for food; survival at a frenzied but exacting pace. He created the sticky core, then spokes first. He carefully did a jig in circles around the core to weave the connecting webs between the long spokes. I watched the spider. The wind blew the rose branch, and the web vibrated delicately and purposefully. He felt and knew what was happening on the opposite end of his web, and danced over the all those connected strands right to the exact spot to check his work. Albert Einstein tried to prove a theory of everything, but didn't live to see it. String Theory...vibrations are everything.

For this 3rd wedding anniversary, Hallmark dictated Leather and Crystal. We exchanged gifts (cowboy boots for him, beautiful gold & silver pendant for me). I love my Robert, but tonight I am struck by the coincidence (?) surrounding another upcoming anniversary, my highschool reunion.

Have been having recurrent hey it's you dreams where a former classmate Brent, a beautiful blond wisp of a boy danced and left us for a career in greatness under Barishnykoff before we were old enough to know what flirting was. Facebook reveals, that not less than 2 other friends, have been "channeling Brent" over last few days and just before he contacted anyone for the first time in over 25 years. VIBRATIONS. We all know whats going on on the other side of the web.

Extreme thought: It's not a universe of stars, planets, dark matter.. nothingness. We are actually all neurons, receptors, gray matter of one great organism. No wonder when we send the "little man" in our heads to figure something out, he comes back with the answer, it's relevant. Not hard to do, because we are so interconnected. It is not the great unknown. We actually just have to scale down to see it, like watching a spider.
Happy 3rd baby, we planned well having it fall on a day which has lived, and will live forever. The Perseids. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perseids. B, LUME.

Happy August - Welcome to the dog days of summer

Backyard fun in Livermore, U.SofA. One of my favorite things to do is spend all day outside with the twins under the umbrella, listening to classic country music and watch them play in the baby pool. Life doesn't get better than this.

Twins Turn Two!

Dominic & Sofia turn two! We threw a Noah's Ark theme birthday brunch for them with a 2x2x2 menu of 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips and 2 pancakes. Gramma, Grampa, Great Uncle Jim & Auntie Linda, and Auntie Erin, Mommy & Daddy attended.

American Beauty - Alameda County Fair

Rob's 33rd on the midway of pleasanton's alameda county fair. Jamie said we could park 800 yards away at Dunder Mifflin...This was probably the understatement of the century. After walking about a mile, thankfully, a Hay Ride just happened upon us, and gave us a lift to the entrance gate. What luck!

Happy Birthday America!

Independence Day..Literally. Cleaning up backyard tonight after our 4th o' July party, we turned around to find Dominic had climbed out of crib (using fisher price aquarium as foot hold), opened his bedroom door and strolled out to living room. I walked him back to his crib only to find SOFIA, was now on top of HER fisher price aquarium; one foot over railing making a break for it! They are working together. The kids are now "camping" indoors under their new crib tents! Looks like a big mosquito net. I can stop sleeping with one eye open now!
